Before anything else,

HAPPY YOOSU DAY!! ♥ ^_^


It’s already the 30th of July over here, actually, but I’m sure it’s still the 29th in other corners of the world so this should still count, yes? ^^


And now, on to business… Updates! Finally! :D

Archives section:

  • New layout and new fanfiction list sorting options. I’m still trying to get the hang of coding in PHP, so if you spot glitches anywhere, please let me know. :)
  • Added new stories. If you submitted something to us before but don’t see it there, kindly re-submit.
  • Ongoing fanfics have been removed from the archive. We will only be accepting completed stories now to avoid the hassle of having to update fic status and such.
  • There have been changes in terms of labeling stories to make things a bit more organized. Check out the fanfic archive page to see the guidelines for choosing appropriate story types, genres, and ratings. If you want to make changes to stories you have already sent in before, just email us at fanfic_archive@oneyoosu.com.
  • Something new in the downloads page courtesy of aulxdayz@LiveJournal/aulxdayz@DeviantArt. :) Btw, please be patient with the downloads page. It may load slowly for some. =/


    We’re so sorry for disappearing on you guys. It’s been extremely busy the past couple months. T_T


    We’ll do our best to keep this site active from now on. Maybe we can try to update at least once a week, provided that we’ll have stuff to update. :) We’ll need your help, though. If you have any suggestions at all, feel free to let us know. Tell us what you’d like to see (or hear) around here and we’ll see what we can do about it. ^^

    BTW, how do you guys like the new blog header? ;)

I’m thinking of zipping all stills and GIFs from AADBSK3 discs 1 to 6 once I’m done with them. I’m currently halfway through the third disc, so if you’re willing to wait you don’t have to save every single one now. ^^

OYS needs a little help…

One YooSu is a pretty big site, especially if you combine this blog and the archive, and so right now we’re looking for contributors and maybe one or two co-admins to maintain it.

Contributors will have posting access here (posts would still be subject to Admin’s approval though). For this we need people who:

» …have more or less constant access to the internet and can go online often (perhaps at least every other day?)

» …know how and where to gather information (like DNBN, WordPress, blogs, Soompi, Baidu, etc.)

» …can quickly find stuff to update and upload fast with FTP (we can provide this if you need it :) )

» …(needless to say) genuinely love YooSu and are very interested and willing to spread the YooSu love

It would be a plus if you know how to translate Japanese/Korean/Chinese to English, or if you at least know someone who does, but it’s not necessarily a requirement. ^^

Those mentioned criteria pretty much apply to Co-admins as well. Co-admins will have the same responsibilities as we do, like overseeing the entire website and approving posts. Aside from blog-related duties, they will also help maintain the archives. This means:

» …occasional checking of fanfic links to see if everything’s working

» …checking for status changes (from ongoing to completed) for multipart stories

» …downloading and uploading stuff for the downloads section when necessary

It’s not a requirement, but it would be great if you know HTML coding and Photoshop design too. ;D

Co-admin applications are currently closed.

We need individuals who have the initiative to help and who can truly commit and give importance to the site as we do. Of course, we understand that real life gets busy a lot so we won’t expect you to be active here all the time. But even so, we hope to find people who can still allot some amount time for updates and such in spite of RL. ^^

» Contact info (MSN/YM/Gchat/Skype/what have you)

» Which position you’re applying for

» Your capabilities, mostly. Like if you know how to translate Japanese/Korean/Chinese to English, have experience making/managing a website, know how to access various sources of information, etc. :D

» How often and how long you can be online usually

Hey guys! Welcome to One YooSu’s blog page! :D

After months of trying to figure out how to get rid of those pesky spam bots, we’ve decided to scrap that and open a blog-type update site instead. Sorry for the inconvenience. >.< We figured it would be better to resort to something we could manage easier. Makes more regular updating easier, too. ;)

All news, announcements, activites, discussions, etc. in the future will be posted here. All updates in the archives will be notified here as well. :)

That being said, we've made some changes in the archives:

» Forms have been removed because we've been getting a lot of spam through those. You can send in submissions through email instead. The instructions are all there in the website, so don’t worry. ^^

» Some fanfic links have become inaccessible so they had to be deleted. Please take note of the rules before submitting and do try your best to remember them afterwards, too.
