Asia’s superstars Kim Junsu, Park Yoochun, and Kim Jaejoong formally announced they have joined East Asia Entertainment entering China to expand their performing career, East Asia Entertainment is very honored to work with Korea’s big time idols. Kim Junsu, Park Yoochun, Kim Jaejoong, will be expanding their career in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. East Asia company with the three members Kim Junsu, Park Yoochun, and Kim Jaejoong other than producing albums, they plan to help them expand in more areas including concerts, commercials, movies and dramas, and etc.

Omitted the part regarding the long list of superstars East Asia Company worked with and the famous films took part in producing.

[News] 100906 JYJ Contract With Prain PR

TVXQ’s Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu have recently signed a contract with a Korean PR consulting firm, Prain, officially beginning their individual promotions.

On the 6th, TVXQ’s three members revealed, “We’ve always reported news to the press through a law firm but decided to go with a PR business for a more systematic and specialized expression of our thoughts. Through Prain, we will be opening a variety of channels that allow for conversing with the press and industry representatives along with our fans.”

Prain’s main area of business revolved around government organizations, some of their clients being former presidents, soccer player Park Jisung, figure star Kim Yuna and others, managing their images and communications.

Although the concept is largely known in other countries, this is the first time a celebrity in Korea has separately contracted with both an agency and a PR agent. Prain representatives stated, “We are not TVXQ’s agency. We are their spokesperson and our responsibilities include managing their images and supporting their marketing and promotions.”

In order to promote the three members of TVXQ, Prain has set up an entertainment business team within the company. The team leader, Kim Sangwoo, stated, “We’re planning to create a transparent partnership as the spokesperson for the stars. We hope to enhance their image and quality as their PR agents.”

On the other hand, the three members are set to release a new album by the end of this year, produced by famous composer Kim Hyungseok and distributed by Warner Music Korea.

The first performance of the ‘Kim Junsu Musical Concert -Levay With Friends’ was completely sold out in 20 minutes and once again showed off the ticket of power of Kim Junsu (Xiah Junsu).


According to EMK Musical, “When the tickets were released on reservation site Interpark at 9pm on the 1st, all the floor seats were sold out in 90 seconds and then all the rest of the seats were sold out in 20 minutes.” It was said later that the large influx of fans also caused the server to crash, which caused great confusion.


This concert, which began when Mozart!’s composer Sylvester Levay gave Kim Junsu a love call, is said to be a high quality performance with the composer himself participating actively by conducting the orchestra and playing the piano.


EMK Musical said, “As there aren’t many opportunities to hold a musical concert at the Sports Stadium, the biggest concert arena in Korea, we will create a performance that will appeal to the masses and introduce those who are unfamiliar with musicals to the genre.”


Many have their attention focused on Kim Junsu, who has been praised for his possibilities as a musical actor, and he will be joined by top musical actors such as Shin Young Suk, Bae Hae Sun, Park Eun Tae and Jung Seon Ah.

During the recording of ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ OST at which Jaejoong and Junsu each had recorded a solo song, before Yoochun who just finished his all night shooting joined the team to sing ‘Chajada’ (read: Chajatta), here is what YOOSU had to say for each other,

Junsu’s words for Yoochun:

The same as Jaejoong hyung, when I saw the trailer of ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’, I think Yoochun fits well in his Korean costume and his acting was so good that makes me naturally feeling proud. Yoochun ordered me to sing the song in much heart pounding feeling, but it’s been a while since I listened to Korean song lyrics, so naturally I feel the heart pounding while singing anyway. If there’s anything that could be Yoochun’s accompanying power, then I’d like to help.”

Yoochun’s word for Junsu:

Despite their busy schedule, Jaejoong hyung and Junsu still do the recording to cheer me up, I’m really impressed. Especially Junsu who’s actually in bad condition, but still forced himself to continue participating. I’m going to work even harder to repay them.

MICKY Yoochun “XIAH Junsu, who drove to visit filming site to show support, lost his wallet”

TVXQ member MICKY Yoochun who reveals XIAH Junsu lost his wallet when he came to support Yoochun.

On the 17th in Seoul’s Sheraton Walker Hill hotel, Vista hall where the KBS 2TV popular drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” press conference, MICKY Yoochun reveals “Junsu lost his wallet. He is really tired right now because of credit card problems.”

XIAH Junsu went to “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” filming site, bought 100 boxes of fried chicken to support MICKY Yoochun.

MICKY Yoochun says “Junsu is definitely not the person that will buy stuff for other people using his own money, but he really bought the fried chicken himself and brought it here, he also stayed at the filming site and watched me film for more than an hour, making me very spirited.

He continues saying “Even though Jaejoong wanted to come with Junsu, bu because of his schedule he couldn’t make it, but said next time he will bring something better than fried chicken.”

‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ is set in Chosun Dynasty, depicts scholars’ dream, love, and friendship. It is scheduled to broadcast on the 30th.

TVXQ member Xiah Junsu made a surprise visit to the location where ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ is currently being filmed to support his fellow member Micky Yoochun.

In the early morning of the 1st, Xiah Junsu visited the site of the drama in Hwasung, Gyeonggido with 100 boxes of fried chicken. Xiah Junsu was able to successfully show support for Micky Yoochun, and the tired actors and staff.

Kang Sung Pil, who plays Lim Byung Choon in the drama, said, “Micky Yoochun was really surprised at Xiah Junsu’s unexpected visit. He talked and laughed with Xiah Junsu and tried to look cool but you could tell that he was deeply touched,” and “You could feel Xiah Junsu’s sincere support for Micky Yoochun and his new challenge, so even the people around them felt better.”

He also said, “When I asked him (Xiah Junsu) if he could make a cameo appearance on the drama, he brightly said that he really wanted to if given the chance,” and “Xiah Junsu stayed on location for a very long time and gave Micky Yoochun strength.”

[NEWS] Xiah Junsu is Casted in “Musical Mozart!”

The musical which is scheduled to open in 2010 “Musical Mozart!” casts TVXQ member Xiah Junsu (real name: Kim Junsu) as one of the character.

Xiah Junsu is planned to role as the genius musician who’s aspiring for a freedom, Mozart.

A representative from EMK Musical Company, Um Hong-hyun said, “When the original author Sylvester Levay visited both the director and Xiah Junsu the first time for a meeting, he’s attracted by Xiah Junsu’s commitment and passion in his musical performance.” he added, “He has an excellent ability and meets the expectation of Mozart character the original author tries to reflect, thus he’s decided as the final cast.”

Xiah Junsu will make alternate appearance as Mozart on stage with another casts namely Kim Tae-kyung, Park Gun-hyung, and Park Eun-tae. (T/N: yes, there are 4 musical actors that will be roled as Wolfgang Mozart)

“Mozart!” is a collaboration work by the world playwright Michael Kunze and Grammy-winning composer Sylvester Levay, which was having its first musical drama in Vienna, Austria. The musical event will be opened on January 20 to February 21st at Sejong Center.

Court rules partial provisional disposition of exclusive belonging terms for TVXQ’s contract with SM Ent

The court has gave out the final ruling on the lawsuit between the 3 members of Dong Bang Shin Ki and SM Entertainment.

Seoul Central Court revealed on 27th October a citation of their ruling for the lawsuit between the SM Entertainment and TVXQ Hero JaeJoong, Xiah JunSu and Micky YooChun.

It was revealed, “We see that part of the terms in their contract has much destroyed the good morals of the whole contract. SM Entertainment should not interfere with its singers’ independent unique activities and also contract to perform and other entertainment activities.”

Previously in July, the 3 members of Dong Bang Shin Ki has revealed their 13-year long contract under SM Entertainment, which meant that they will possibly be working under SM Entertainment for life, and has applied for the effect of provisional disposition of the terms in their contract. And the 2 parties have engaged in a lawsuit as SM Entertainment insist that the terms under their contract are reasonable.

The court also revealed, “Through the individual agreement, there is high possibility for group activities to continue, but for the provisional disposition of the existing activities and the profit allocation, it is invalid and difficult. We will have to dismiss the application for the full provisional disposition of the effects of the exclusive belonging terms in the contract.”

Updates: The 3 members have announced that they will agree to the court rulings on this lawsuit
